Welcome to the District of Columbia School Psychologists’ Professional Organization. DCASP advances professional issues, advocacy and growth on behalf of professional school psychologists, school psychology students and interns within the District of Columbia. DCASP strives to enhance school psychology by providing training regarding guidelines, ethical codes and best practices outlined by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) to ensure all psychologists practicing in schools understand the role and expectations of highly trained specialist level school psychologists.

We encourage our members to keep abreast of new and developing research, interventions and practices in the field and we ensure that all psychologists have a voice in the political, legislative and educational agenda impacting service delivery in the District of Columbia.
