Our home,

Washington, DC,

 is a cosmopolitan city!

Delegations from countries around the world and right here in the USA, flock to this city which boasts an increasingly diverse ethnic population.  As DC lost residents to surrounding suburbs in the 1990’s, new housing and urban /revitalization is now attracting people back to the city for a downtown renaissance of housing, offices, entertainment and nightlife.

District of Columbia Association
of School Psychologists

Welcome to the District of Columbia School Psychologists Professional Organization. DCASP advances professional issues, advocacy and growth on behalf of professional school psychologists, school psychology students and interns within the District of Columbia. DCASP strives to enhance school psychology by providing training regarding guidelines, ethical codes and best practices outlined by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) to ensure all psychologists practicing in schools understand the role and expectations of highly trained specialist level school psychologists. We encourage our members to keep abreast of new and developing research, interventions and practices in the field and we ensure that all psychologists have a voice in the political, legislative and educational agenda impacting service delivery in the District of Columbia. If you have suggestions, information or need our services, please contact us by email at dcasp2008@gmail.com
